Santa Cruz county has a vast array of things to do for every taste and interest. Here are just a few:
Santa Cruz beach Boardwalk, 12 miles south of the Resort
Henry Cowel State park, six miles south of the Resort on Hwy 9 in Felton.
Big Basin, California's first state park is open but limited to day use and select trails. Parking is limited and requires a reservation. Go to the Big Basin website for more information.
Roaring Camp Railroad in Felton, six miles south of the Resort
The city of Santa Cruz, nightlife and good eats everywhere.
Capitola beach, wonderful little beach town about 30 minutes south
The Santa Cruz wharf - Great restaurants, clothing and gift shops, sea lions and watch the surfers
Take a drive West Cliff drive that runs along the ocean, stop at the light house. Road ends at Natural Bridges State Park
